Summer Reading 2008

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
by C. S. Lewis

For this summer’s reading, you will read C. S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Study questions to help as you are reading the book can be found on the Pillow Academy website. These questions will be used as the basis of discussion the first few days of school. A test on the book will be given the first week of school. In addition to The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, you will read Alan Williams’s Walk On. You will not be tested on Walk On. Your assignment will be posted on the Pillow Academy website by June 1st. My advice is to read Walk On first so that The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe will be fresh in your mind when you return to school.
