MONDAY, Mar. 24th / Lesson about Spanish-Speaking countries - Lección sobre países hispanohablantes. This week students will be reviewing important facts from some Spanish-speaking Countries. Use Chromebooks in class this week. Go over the Slideshows to find the information needed for your responses (Questions and answers worksheets). The questions will be provided during class time. Students will focus on identifying the major Spanish-speaking nations, their geographical locations, unique cultural aspects like food, music, and festivals, and interesting facts about each country, all while incorporating basic Spanish vocabulary to discuss these features. There are 21 countries which state their official language as Spanish: Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Equatorial Guinea.
