Complete the exercises from the handout provided in class on Monday: Exercise A, exercise 2-A, exercise 2-B, exercise C, and exercise D. Must use both Prepositions (POR / PARA) correctly. Follow directions provided from the handout. Students can use Google Translate. HOMEWORK: Complete the work from class. Review rules for Prepositions POR and PARA. REMINDER: Bring charged Chromebooks for class tomorrow.

THURSDAY, Jan. 23rd / Students will learn additional Prepositions in Spanish: "Personal A, De, Con, & En, along with Prepositional Phrases". Go over those Prepositions in class. Go over rules, sentences, and examples. Highlight the important information. Don't highlight everything; only mark the truly essential information, such as rules and some examples. Refer to the attached handouts. Go over Preposition A (Personal A) pg. 47 from the Textbook. Write out the information from pg. 47 (Write it out if you need to). HOMEWORK: Work on the exercises from the handout "Ch. 7 Prepositions". Go over the material covered in class today. The test for this lesson will be next week on Thursday, Jan. 30th.

A prepositional phrase in Spanish is a group of words that include a preposition, like "en" (in), "de" (of), "para" (for), and an object, creating phrases like "en la casa" (in the house), "de Madrid" (from Madrid), or "para mí" (for me).
Some common Spanish prepositional phrases:
"Encima de" - on top of
"Debajo de" - under, underneath
"Delante de" - in front of
"Detrás de" - behind
"Entre" - between
"Hacia" - towards
"Al lado de" - next to
"Fuera de" - outside of
"Antes de" - before

FRIDAY, Jan. 24th / Cont. with Spanish Prepositions “Personal A, De, Con, and En”. Review rules for those Prepositions. Complete the activity with Prepositional Phrases (Handout). Complete the exercises from the Worksheet "Chapter 7 Prepositions"(It was homework). HOMEWORK: Watch the videos to review all Prepositions covered in class. Students can take notes from the videos. Study for the test next week on Thursday, January 30th. REMINDER: The test covers information about (Prepositions Por and Para) and (Additional Prepositions: Personal A, De, Con, En, and Prepositional Phrases). Review all rules, uses, differences, sentences, and examples between all Prepositions.
