Watch the videos to go over the information for Past Tense in Spanish. Write information from the videos (Rules, conjugations, sentences, and examples). Students can use this information on their test later. Write the information from Chapter 15 pg. 186 "ar" verbs, and Chapter 7 pg. 257 "er & ir" verbs (Textbook). This information from the Textbook will be on the test. Go over the Rules and Endings for Regular verb conjugations. Provide some examples. Translate a list of vocabulary words and phrases (Key words - Handout). This list will be on the test. Translate several sentences using Past Tense of Regular verbs in Spanish (Handouts are posted on Google Classroom). These sentences will be on the Test. Complete the Class Notes and Practica for Regular verbs in the Past Tense worksheet (Google Classroom - See the attachment). HOMEWORK: Review material covered in class today. 8	9 MONDAY, Oct. 9th / FALL BREAK!!! 11:59 PM	10 TUESDAY, Oct. 10th / 2nd Week for Past Tense in Spanish. Go over verbs with Spelling Changes -car, -gar, & -zar in the Past Tense pg. 212 (Textbook). Go over rules for these special verbs. Write the information from pg. 212 on a piece of notebook paper. This information will be on the test. Translate all the (18) verbs from the handout. Then, conjugate (2) verbs ending in -car, (2) verbs ending in -gar, and (2) verbs ending in -zar. Students can find some of these verbs with the Spelling changes in the textbook pp. 558-560. Follow the steps carefully. Watch the videos to review -car, -gar and -zar Spelling verbs. HOMEWORK: Practice Spelling verb conjugations. Read and then write the information from pg. 377. This information will be on the test. Go over rules, verb conjugations, sentences, and examples. Go over a list of "ir" Stem-Changing verbs. Translate and conjugate those verbs correctly (Handout). Practice “ir" verbs with Stem-Changing forms in the Past Tense. Watch the videos to review "ir" Stem-Changing verbs in the past. 15	16 MONDAY, Oct. 16th / 3rd Week - Test Week: Learn how to form the Past Tense of Irregular verbs in Spanish. Conjugate Irregular verbs in the Past. Complete the “Conjugation Charts” with Spanish Irregular Verbs (The students will get the handout with the Charts in class on Monday). The Charts must be completed in English and Spanish. Write sentences in Spanish on a piece of notebook paper using all the Spanish Irregular verbs from the Chart. Follow directions carefully. HOMEWORK: Study for the Test Thursday, Oct. 19th.
