Use the worksheet you are given in class to re-write the paragraph adding ALOT more details and descriptions.  The best way to accomplish this is by adding ADJECTIVES where necessary.  I will be checking your paragraph to make sure it is interesting, more descriptive, and that it makes sense.  You can not take anything out of the paragraph, but you may add whatever you think will make the paragraph sound BETTER.

Begin notes on vocabulary terminology- connotation, denotation, and figurative lang- complete worksheets in class


Wednesday- go over vocab terminology worksheets
Notes on homophones, homonyms, etc- complete worksheet in class
Practice checking your emails
Hmwrk- research on your computer 3 pairs of words that are homonyms, homographs, and homophones- write a sentence showing how each word is used correctly.

Thursday- notes on context clues- complete worksheets 
Look over google docs together in class today


Friday- Notes on analogies, synonym, antonym- complete worksheet in class
Homework- Type 8 of your own analogies on google docs and submit to me by Sunday evening at 8pm
