Due:
Read Chapter 9 section 1. We are going into Thomas Jefferson's presidency. We watched the video of TJ on the in class on the history channel (#3) which gives an overview. You may watch this to learn a little about him if you would like.
Homework is watching another video of TJ- You will find it on Youtube. Search for History Channel- The President's- Part 1 of 8. It is a 45 minute video, but you have already watched the part on George Washington and John Adams. You will be starting at 23 minutes until the part on Jefferson is over.
You will need to listen and write down the MOST INTERESTING facts/information that you learn. I am NOT asking you to write down EVERYTHING! But there should be some things that make you "perk up" and get your attention. Obviously, there is NO WAY that everyone in the class is going to write down the same facts and info. So, this is INDIVIDUAL WORK!
We will begin going through Chapter 9 next week but will NOT finish it. No test next week, but you will have a quiz at some point when we have covered enough material.
