Students will explore important parts of the story such as characters, setting, problem and solution, while continuing to practice reading comprehension and vocabulary development. We will summarize the events in the story using sequencing and cause and effect. We will compare and contrast not only the characters in the story, but with ourselves as well. Through fun discussions and activities, we will connect Junie B.'s humorous Thanksgiving adventures to lessons about gratitude and teamwork. It is sure to be a week full of laughter, learning and thankfulness.
Activities will be done in class only. The only Junie B. Jones assessment will be an AR test at the end of the week. We will have our weekly cold read on Monday.
