Monday
Theme 4 Week 3
1. Introduce the new sight words for a test on Friday.
2. The teacher will read to the class, “Dad’s Big Plan” on pages 183-189, “Dog School” on pages 190-209, and “Daycare for Dogs” on pages 212-215.
3. We will complete a comprehension worksheet that goes along with "Dad's Big Plan". We will also work on sight word questions.
If time- Work on Christmas craft for the hallway

HW: Review sight words for a test on Friday.

Tuesday
1. Review sight words for a test on Friday.
2. The class will read “Dad’s Big Plan” on pages 183-189
3. We will read as a class the phonics reader, “Something Grand”.
4. Discuss the stories.
5. We will complete a comprehension sheet that goes along with the reader as well as work on suffixes 'ly', 'less', and 'ness'.
If time- Work on Christmas craft.

HW: Review the sight words for a test on Friday.
Read the phonics reader, “Something Grand”. Have signed and return.

Wednesday
1. Review sight words for a test on Friday.
2. The class will read “Dog School” on pages 190-209 and “Daycare for Dogs” on pages 212-215. 
3. We will complete a comprehension worksheet for the story, "Dog School".
4. Discuss the stories.
If time- Work on Christmas craft.
