Reading 2025-2026

1. Introduce the new reading sight words for this week. Test on Friday.
2. Have the class read, “If You Give a Pig a Pancake '' on pages 79-103.- complete comprehension page.
3. Read “Blueberry Pancakes'' on pages 106-109.
4. The students will complete their AR after finishing their classwork, if time.

HW: Practice reading this week’s sight words for a test on Friday. Read your library/Accelerated Reader books carefully. We will be taking AR tests on them.

2. Have the class read, “If You Give a Pig a Pancake '' on pages 79-103.
3. Read phonics reader, “Signs to Know”. Complete comprehension page
5. The students will complete their AR after finishing their worksheet, if time.

HW: Practice reading this week’s sight words for a test on Friday. Read your library/Accelerated Reader books carefully. We will be taking AR tests on them. Read and have signed the phonics reader, "Sign to Know". Return tomorrow.

Wednesday 
1. Review the sight words for a test on Friday.
2. Have the class reread “If You Give a Pig a Pancake” on pages 79-103.
3. We will complete a center using the sight words as well as working on tally charts. 
4. The students will complete their AR after finishing their classwork, if time.

HW: Practice reading this week’s sight words for a test on Friday. Read your library/Accelerated Reader books carefully. We will be taking AR tests on them. (These do not count in the grade book)
