Pillow Student Pages in Mississippi House
JACKSON, Miss. (March 10, 2023) – Mason McLellan of West, MS recently served as a page for the Mississippi House of Representatives. Pages generally run errands for officials and House staff.
McLellan, 16, is the daughter of Natalie and Owen McLellan, and she is a junior at Pillow Academy. Mason has a Cumulative GPA of 4.715. She is enrolled in several honors and advance classes. Mason is a member of the Varsity Lady Mustang’s Basketball Team, PA Dance Team, Baseball Diamond Girls, National English Honor Society, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Quill & Scroll Honor Society.
Mason was sponsored by Speaker Pro Tempore Jason White (R – West). When asked about the week, McLellan said, “I loved the time I got to spend as a page in the Mississippi House of Representatives. Thank you to Representative White, for this opportunity. I have learned a lot this week, and I hope to be back next year!”
