       -Rd. Neely’s out loud
       -Write Conclusion
-While they’re writing the conclusion, I will do BP5 COMPLETION

            they did get something wrong.

WEDNESDAY:
Lesson for the Day
RESEARCH PAPER
   -Works Cited Page
-Look at Neely’s WCP/discuss and review it
-Your Works Cited page is the last page of your essay. So, after your
conclusion, click enter until it brings you to the next new page. Again, the
Works Cited page must be on its own page.
-Tips/tricks =
1. Copy/paste your bibliographic citations from your
annotated bib of those sources you used in your paper (be sure
that if you got any of them wrong to fix them first before
               copying/pasting)
   2. Use the “Works Cited Page Info + Bibliographic Info for
Annotated Bib” handout/pull up in Google Classroom to
               show/discuss
   3. You MUST have a bibliographic citation on your Works Cited
page for EVERY SINGLE SOURCE YOU USED.  Major points
will be deducted if you used a source in your paper but didn’t
document it in your Works Cited page.  MAJOR POINTS.
   4. Again, look at Neely’s to see how it should be
               formatted/spaced.
5. I will not grade your research paper if you don’t do the
Works Cited page.  I won’t be able to!  I have to have it so I can
refer to it as I’m reading your paper.
-While they’re working on their Works Cited page, I will do the Conclusion COMPLETION CHECK/discuss their errors if I see any.
HOMEWORK = Finish your Works Cited page if you didn’t finish in class.

-A Hero’s Journey:
-Not only will you do the Steps for Annotating on this particular piece of literature, but you will trace The Hero’s Journey, also known as The Monomyth. Why? Because The Epic of Gilgamesh is a perfect example of following The Hero’s Journey/The Monomyth. Pass out
the handout and questions/read through and explain.
-Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWppk7-Mti4

-Rd. through each subsection in its entirety first. Then, stop and annotate doing the Steps of Annotating sheet. Next, answer what questions we can from The Hero’s Journey. Finally, discuss anything they’re still stuck on.  This is what we will do for each subsection of Part 1 so I can show them how it’s done.
