Theme 1/Week 2
Review the sight words for the week.
Read together the stories. “Cam and Pat” pages 38-45 and “A Day at School” pages 46-65. Discuss stories. 
Read along with class Phonics reader “Hal has a Pal” and complete a corresponding worksheet that reviews blends and words within the story.  
Complete a sight word graphing page to review sight words. Review spelling words while unscrambling them. 

HW: Review sight words for test on Friday. Read and have signed the phonics reader. Return tomorrow.

Wednesday
Reading groups:  Review sight words, read together “Cam and Pat” pages 38-45  and “A Day at School” pages 46-65.
Complete a fun game of roll a sight word to review over the weekly sight words.

HW: Review sight words for test on Friday.

Thursday
Reading groups: Review sight words, review stories for the week. 
Read along with the class the phonics reader, “Frog and the Figs”. 
Complete the Frog and Figs comprehension sheet together as well as review blends and words within the reader.

HW: Review sight words for the test given tomorrow. 
Read and have signed the phonics reader. Return tomorrow.
