Two stories this week in Reading-George and Martha: The Surprise/ Hippos.

1. Review vocabulary for George and Martha (cross, observed, thoroughly, unmoved, wicked) and Hippos (mammal, moisture, herds, relatives, trot, nostrils).
2. Read George and Martha.
3. Complete story map together.
4. Read Hippos.
5. Complete Venn diagram comparing and contrasting the hippos in George and Martha to the hippopotamuses in Hippos.

Homework
*Review vocabulary and read both stories.
*Complete Feeling Words vocabulary sheet.
*Reading test Friday

Skill- Consonant sounds can be spelled with double letters after short vowels sounds. well sniff glass buzz
Spelling workbook pages 14-17.

1. Review spelling words.
